Mount Pilatus - Switzerland

Mount Pilatus is a mountain overlooking Lucerne in central Switzerland. It is composed of several peaks, of which the highest is named Tomlishorn (2,128.5m). It can be easily accessible via cable car, which offers a pleasant ride while enjoying the amazing landscape! Legend say that the mountain is named after Pontius Pilate, which is believed that he was buried there. The mountain is also called the Mountain of Dragons. At the top there is a museum, a hotel and a restaurant. The building is connected through internal caverns that allow you to walk around the peak and appreciate the other side of the mountain. On our way back we were lucky that the sky cleared out, and it allowed us to see the complete glacier of the mountain with a stunning pink sunset.
